We are seeing more inexperienced riders on the road .We are also seeing more fatalities involving motorcycles. A recent study shows the main reason was due to riders not having any training. It should be noted that many of the riders didn't even have a motorcycle license.

If a rider can not pass a riding test how would they react when encountering and emergency situation. Rider training should be part of your plans when purchasing a motorcycle.

When this study was done the riders were asked why they didn't get the proper license, most stated because they didn't feel they could pass it. Motorcycle training can prepare you to pass the test for you driver's permit.

Whats more important is it will give you the skills needed when driving on the road. These skills are learned quickly, and you gain the confidence to handle your bike like a pro.

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation offers training in all 50 states, they have many classes, some are held at tech schools. Check the MSF website for times and locations. Please note these classes give you the basic knowledge to safely operate your bike. You will also learn the proper motorcycle riding gearthat should be worn for your protection.

Advanced training can also be obtained in most areas, this training has fewer riders which allows for faster learning of advanced riding skills
