Motorcycle riding boots when a pair of fip flops just dont cut it
Motorcycle riding boots whats the big deal? You get up one morning and you go for a ride, its a nice crisp morning. You cruise up to the stop sign and as you stop you put your feet on the ground. The next thing you know you and your bike are on the ground. Those tennis shoes you were wearing slid on the wet pavement and cause you to fall. Its like the old saying, “ don't take a knife to a gun fight”. WE see it all the time riders not wearing proper foot wear for riding. So what makes for good riding boots? Glad you ask. Riding boots should offer good ankle support They should be made from quality leather They should be waterproof and insulated, if for winter wear Good rider boots should have thick slip resistant soles The boots should have a high quality liner for comfort Remember this is another part of you protective clothing. A good pair of quality boots will lastyou for years. A poor quality boot could cause you injuries. My best advise don't skimp here.........

Insulated riding boots
Insulated riding boots are great during the winter. Most riders will wear heavy insulated jackets and chaps and find their feet are freezing.
You will also want then to be waterproof nothing is worse than cold wet feet to ruin your ride. Unlike most riders I ride all year. Rain sleet or snow doesn't stop me now ice that's a different story.
OK speaking of ice never ride when ice is present on the road, if you hit ice on the road you are likely to loose control.
