Lets face the facts you will find a lot of junk being sold as protective gear . I have even seen pigskin jackets sold as motorcycle jackets. The facts are you should never ride a motorcycle with a pigskin jacket, they will tear apart as soon as you hit the road. I have seen these jackets tear from brushing against a rose bush.

I have also seen riding boots that don't even have slip resistant soles. The facts are anyone can make anything and call it riding gear. in Europe they have standards that require clothing to pass performance standards before it can be sold as protective gear. Remember cheap isn't always the way to go when you are purchasing equipment that protects your life.
